Carpet Cleaning

Terminator Carpet Cleaning utilizes state-of-the-art technology to accomplish what conventional carpet cleaning does not. Our cleaning system gives us complete control over how much fluid is injected into the carpet fiber. This control prevents over wetting and cuts the dry time from 24 hours to 2 - 4 hours. Our deep cleaning system removes 50% more soil and does not wet through the backing of the carpet. Most carpet cleaning methods either leave too much water in the carpet which can cause major problems for your carpet and worse for your health or leave residue, soil and contaminates in the carpet. Listed below are some of the inherent problems with conventional carpet cleaning methods.

Hot Water Extraction (Otherwise known as Steam Cleaning)

• Carpet Wrinkling (basically the latex adhesive used to marry the carpet to its secondary backing breaks down because hot water and latex do not mix. So you have a separation problem between the two leaving you with an ugly bumpy carpet that detracts from the beauty of your home).
• Growing Mold or Mildew (caused by long dry times of up to 36 hours and can cause major health problems especially in small children).
• Rust Spots from nail heads wicking up through to the surface of the carpet (caused by over wetting).
• Set Stains (The 180 ° temperature of the water used can open dye sites on the carpet fiber and let the stain wash into them, locking them into the fiber.)
• Wick Back of soil that is driven into the secondary backing of the carpet (Too much downward pressure drives the soils into the backing of the carpet where over a period of a week or so is ground up by foot traffic and then wicks back to the surface where it clings to the residue left by the cleaning process).
• Stain re-appearance (same cause as wick back).
